No. The WN Group services fee-based advisors. For advisors with commission-based business, The WN Group can help you put together a plan to transition to fee-based from a hybrid fee/commission model. There are many very viable fee-based alternatives to the traditional securities products, including mutual funds, variable annuities, fixed index annuities, private real estate, private debt, private equity and more.
The WN Group has proprietary model portfolios that advisors may use. Advisors using their own brand may choose to maintain their own investment philosophy and models.
The WN Group currently has relationships with a handful of custodial firms, although the primary custodian is Charles Schwab. We do have the capability to integrate with most custodians depending on the size of the practice.
Yes. The WN Group has E & O insurance available for its Investment Advisor Representatives and the firm.
Advisors may have the option of maintaining their current office space or co-locating at The WN Group’s home office.
The WN Group primarily partners with advisors who are seeking relationships to grow their practices. However, we understand that there are advisors who would like a partnership to arrange for and develop a succession plan relationship to protect the future of their practices. The WN Group is able to facilitate the best exit strategy for advisors if needed.
